Red Dirt Software is a software studio in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We make and run our own apps, and we build custom software for other businesses.
What we do
Our first app is Benchtime: Ship-By Dates, a Shopify app for shops whose orders take time to prepare. It schedules each order against the shop's real capacity and shows shoppers a ship-by date on product pages and at checkout.
We also take on custom projects: Shopify apps, websites and internal tools for businesses that want software shaped around how they already work. If that sounds like you, tell us about your project.
The name
Much of Oklahoma sits on red soil, and "red dirt" is a name people here use for the music, the art and the work that grows out of it. We liked the idea of software with the same roots: practical, local and made to last.
How we work

Plain language, honest limits, no inflated claims. Our app listings and quotes say what the software does today.
Small on purpose
You talk with the people designing and building your project. Decisions are quick and nothing gets lost in a handoff.
Look after what ships
Launch is the start. We monitor what we run, fix problems quickly and answer support email ourselves.
